In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) which provides economic relief to curtail the effects of the pandemic. Pursuant to the Department of Treasury's Compliance and Reporting Guidance and statutory requirements identified in HB 632 passed by Montana's 67th Legislature, all data and information pertaining to how ARPA funds will be spent must be included in an online portal (https://arpa.mt.gov/). This transparency site shall include identification of grant recipients for businesses, local or tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations.
