Function Quasi-Judicial Board

Description Board establishes spacing units, issues drilling permits, administers bonds, classifies wells and adopts rules to prevent waste of oil and gas resources, to conserve oil and gas by encouraging maximum efficient recovery of the resource, to protect the correlative rights of mineral owners, and prevent operations from harming nearby land or underground resources.
