Function Advisory Council

Description Committee protects and fosters the health and prosperity of the Montana wheat and barley industry as a producer-funded check-off organization for wheat and barley growers in the state. They do this by encouraging scientific research to improve production and quality, maintaining current markets, promoting new market development and serves as an educational and informational resource. Committee also includes the Dean of Agriculture at Montana State University - Bozeman, and a Representative of the Grain Trade in Montana, elected by a majority of the appointed members.
